In addition to its broad range of Mining switchgear products, B&F also manufactures very rugged switchgear for general industrial use, where site conditions demand such robust fabrication and workmanship standards.

B&F's compact RLC units are not 'flameproof' as these units are designed to be used in Safe Areas.  RLC's are however fabricated to the same high standards, just without the machined flamepaths on the door openings.  The RLC enclosures can be skid-mounted for ease of relocation around the job-site, and these units provide supplies via trailing cables.

These versatile RLC units can be used in any application where mobility of rugged electricl equipment is a requirement, including: -   open cast mining, quarrying, etc.

RLC's are suitable for driving local machinery, including: -   pumps, conveyors, fans, etc.
