The Univac FP range provides a versatile range of Flameproof switchgear designed for zones 1 & 2, Gas Groups IIA & IIB, and for Group II Temperature Classes T3 to T6.

The Univac-IP range has specially designed shear fasteners on the top mounted pressure relief flaps, and these vent safely within 20 msec. of reaching the maximum internal pressure rating in the event of an arc. Switchboards without such internal arc fault protection cannot guarantee the safety of personnel operating in the area should such an internal arc fault develop.
