Supply Points for the Norton Bridge Alliance, West Coast Route Modernisation
Project
This comprised the supply of 10 off Principal Supply Points
to provide continuous stable power for trackside signalling at 400Vac
3-phase IT. The units incorporating REC and traction feed UPSs were
fully assembled in client supplied trackside container type relocatable
buildings.
Principal Supply Points for the Rugby Alliance, West Coast Route Modernisation Project
This comprised the supply of 11 off Principal Supply Points to provide continuous stable power for trackside signalling at 400Vac 3-phase TN. The units incorporating REC and traction feed UPSs were fully assembled in client supplied trackside container type relocatable buildings for installing on the Hanslope to Rugby section.
Signal Supply Points for the NW SSP Renewals Project
This comprised the supply of 6 off Signal Supply Points to First Engineering for the NW SWPA SSP Renewals Project. We supplied one complete replacement SSP package complete with 400Vac generator for Hunts Cross plus 5 off replacement switchboards for installation in existing brick built substations for use with existing 650Vac generators.
Principal Supply Points for the Horsham
Area Resignalling Scheme
This comprised the supply of 6 off Principal Supply Points to provide
continuous stable power to trackside signalling at 400Vac 3-phase
TN. The units incorporating REC and traction feed UPSs were fully
assembled in client supplied trackside containers. Supplied to Alstom
Transport for the HARS upgrade.
Other Project experience in the Rail Industry
'P87000' Type Tested Motor Control Centres (MCC's)
Ventilation and Pumping system built to Rail Link Engineering exacting standards for the Nadir and London Portal tunnels on the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL). The work was carried out for Amec Spie Rail and Amec Consulting.
Material Handling MCC's
This comprised the supply of a fully type tested and Rail Link Engineering approved motor control centre to control the production of aggregate for the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL). The units are located near Kings Cross Station, and were supplied to PCS Ltd. (Process Control Systems Ltd.)
St Pancras Station
A combined bypass and changeover system incorporating a 400/ 650Vac transformer for use with UPS system supplied by Saft was built to Rail Link Engineering standards for St Pancras Station as part of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL). The work was carried out for Saft as part of their contract with Mowlem.
