Baldwin & Francis design and manufacture specialist electrical equipment for some of the most hazardous environments, with additional supporting services to global customers where safety, reliability and longevity are essential.

Our end users operate in many different sectors where power failure is not an option, and they rely on B&F to keep these vital services operating safely. These include Offshore O&G, Rail Signalling Power Control and hazardous Industrial & Mining applications (including FLP).

Our products and services are bespoke and offered by a very limited range of companies within the UK, and even globally, and end users rely on them. This also includes urgent on-site repairs.

B&F’s production process cannot be undertaken at home; we require production machinery, stores, and engineering support to operate safely within our factory at our headquarters in Sheffield. Our office-based staff have been instructed to work from home wherever possible.

For those on site, we have implemented strong segregation protocols to ensure the staff working in the facility are protected with physical separation between work groups, thorough cleaning routines and ensuring all PPE requirements are met as products move through production processes.
