Last week, the iDESo Group was proud to once again exhibit at the Water Equipment Show, hosted by the Pump Centre, at the Telford International Centre. The event provided a fantastic platform to reconnect with our valued customers and engage with new faces from across the water sector.
Industry Insights and Technical Dialogue
A standout feature of this year’s show was the Technical Sessions, which delivered valuable insights into the future of the industry. In particular, discussions around “AMP8 Challenges and Opportunities” and the evolving “WIMES Specifications and Data Sheets” sparked meaningful dialogue on regulatory shifts and operational innovation.
These sessions reaffirmed our commitment to supporting clients as they navigate the complexities of AMP8 and adapt to changing standards across the sector.
Paul Hartley, Head of Sales at iDESo Group, commented:
“The energy around AMP8 was exciting — innovation and collaboration will be vital as we deliver the largest investment in the UK water sector since its privatisation.”
Spotlight on Medium Voltage Innovation
A key highlight of our stand was the unveiling of the Baldwin & Francis e2ALPHA Vacuum Circuit Breaker, the latest addition to our Medium Voltage portfolio. Engineered for critical infrastructure, the e2ALPHA is designed with safety, reliability, and performance at its core, addressing the evolving needs of utilities and industrial operators.
Compliant with all relevant IEC Standards and AFLR Arc Classification, this 12kV unit offers a comprehensive range up to 4000A and a rated short time withstand current of up to 40kA.
Additional options include:
- Integrated cameras for visual confirmation of motorised operation from “TEST” to “SERVICE” positions
- Arc Flash Detection in each compartment for enhanced safety
- Front or rear cable access, making the e2ALPHA ideal for containerised substation applications
Strengthening Partnerships
A special thank you to our partners at Rockwell Automation for the invitation to the Conference Dinner. The dinner was a fantastic evening of networking, collaboration, and shared vision for the future of utilities and engineering excellence.
Let’s Collaborate
We’d like to thank everyone who visited our stand and contributed to the conversations that will shape the future of water infrastructure. If you’re interested in learning more about our solutions or exploring collaboration opportunities, we’d love to hear from you.
