Baldwin & Francis design and manufacture robust, high quality ASP’s and are a renowned supplier of these to the UK Rail Industry. Due to their reliability and ease of installation, B&F ASP’s are installed across the UK network. Each ASP is designed and built to the customers bespoke requirements with B&F offering support through the entire project life cycle (from extensive/detailed design assistance, site support, install and commission, maintenance).

Core Valley Lines Transformation Project
The Core Valley Lines (CVL) programme of works forms a significant part of the South Wales Metro project with a budget to both improve and renew existing assets. As part of these improvements, B&F were contacted to supply various signalling power control equipment and supporting services to ensure continuity across the project; initially starting with the supply of GRP ASP units at Aberdare and Merthyr Tyfdil.
East Coast Main Line DNOs
The East Coast Main Line improvement project is a 5+ year long project to enable faster, quieter and more environmentally friendly trains to run between Edinburgh and London. As part of these improvements, B&F were contacted to supply various DNO Cubicles across the route.
Kings Cross Remodelling Project
A major part of the East Coast Upgrade by Network Rail was a multi-million-pound investment in renewing track, signalling and overhead line equipment at King’s Cross.
The Trans Pennine Route Upgrade (TRU)
As part of TRU project, a multi-billion-pound long-term railway infrastructure project that will improve connectivity in the North of the UK, various improvements and renewals are being completed across the North.
Northumberland Park DNO Cubicle
As part of the WAML upgrade project, B&F supplied GRP DNO to the client who required a 2 week turn around due to unforeseen complications.
Wessex Route Project
The Wessex rail upgrade project is a longstanding project with an investment of £2bn to improve the railway infrastructure from across the South West and into London.
